Flintshire Autogas leads the way in money savings for motorists

Motorists on the English and Welsh border can look forward to great money savings after Flintshire Autogas Services has been selected as one of the first pioneering specialist garages to join a new autogas LPG conversion network.

Hand-picked by Autogas after rigorous assessments to ensure their work and service is only of the highest standard, the garage is among only a handful in the country which have been invited to join the pioneering scheme which aims to make LPG conversions more accessible and efficient for motorists.

“Having carried out LPG conversions for the last 15 years, we’re excited about our appointment and this latest phase of growth and interest,” explains Terry Garland at Flintshire Autogas. “Air quality is a growing problem for many businesses and individuals, which LPG can help to improve, but perhaps even more attractive are the 40 per cent savings in fuel cost.”

With its significant cost saving potential, it is anticipated that demand for LPG conversions will increase during 2015, following potential £12 billion welfare cuts by the new all Conservative government which is likely to impact significantly on families and businesses alike. With motorists able to save up to 40 per cent in fuel costs by running their vehicles on LPG, huge money savings can be made by switching to the greener, more environmentally friendly fuel.

General Manager of Autogas Limited, Linda Gomersall, said: “In a time of austerity, our conversion network of expert specialists will promise to provide motorists who switch to the greener fuel in the Chester and surrounding areas with valuable shrewd savings.”

The new conversion scheme will provide drivers with a dedicated branded experience and quality engine conversions by Autogas assessed engineers with an efficient service. Customers will also be provided with a courtesy car for the duration of the conversion and further exclusive post-conversion support, including membership of the Shell Drivers’ Club and a £50 fuel voucher.
